This book is amazing!!! Why? I love fairy tales! This book is full of mystery, fairy tales,adventure, and Spells!!! Who would not like the combination? This book is also by Heather Vogel Frederick my favorite author from the mother-Daughter book club! It all starts with Catriona, Cat. Her mother is an astronaut who has to go into space immediately with no warning. Cat has 2 options. Either go to her great aunt, or go to her father and step-mother. she thinks her great aunt is weird so of course

Cat has to go live with her dad and his family while her mom is on the International Space Station. She likes her dad, her stepmom Iz and her little brother Geoffrey, but can't stand her evil stepsister Olivia. They are both in 7th grade and Olivia makes life at school and at home unbearable for Cat. So Cat calls her mom in space for help, but she doesn't get the kind of help she wants. A clean middle school book for those who are interested in a little fantasy. 12 yr old Cat has just arrived at her dad's house to live for 3 months. Normally she just spends a week here and there with him but her mother, an astronaut, was assigned to a last minute space flight and she has no where else to go. Portland isn't too bad. I loved this book too! I like how there is always a big problem in the book that this author writes, and the characters always come up with very interesting ways to solve them! I couldn't put this book down!

This was an awesome book!! It had a wonderful plot line!! I thought it was going to be so predictable but it had so many twists and turns that i couldn't make easy predictions! Loved IT

This is a book tweens would like. It jumps around a little bit and can get a little confusing, but is overall enjoyable.
