Narration Conducive To Books Strife (Wicca #9)
Weird things are happening and no one can really figure out why. Cal and Selene are dead. Ciaran is on the run and he couldn't possibly be making them happen from how far away he is... so naturally, everyone starts blaming Morgan. She's powerful, she uninitiated... maybe she's causing these things to happen without knowing it. Hunter brings someone to help Morgan learn more about her powers and how to control them. She starts tutoring Morgan as soon as she gets there. The story shifts, suddenly we're aware of what Alisa is thinking, of her plans to write an article to "warn" people of this "strange magick" being practiced. Honestly, this whole part annoyed me. Alisa hasn't been in the coven long enough and she was the youngest of all the members. I was convinced that Alisa had something to do with all of the "accidents" since every time they happened, Alisa was around. As much as I love Sweep, I felt this book was a hassle to get through. Now that Cal and Selene are gone, I just feel that the story has lost its edge. Doesn't mean I hated the book or that I'll stop reading the series, that's just how this particular book made me feel.Identify Books Concering Strife (Wicca #9)

4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ read! Found this one a little slow at times, especially considering the action-packed events of the last book, and I didnt really like the characters of Alisa or Erin! Still enjoying the series though and will read the rest! 😁

I love this series. I cant get enough of it! I love Morgan and Hunters love story and I dont even like lovey-dovey stuff.
Morgan grew up a bit in this book. I feel if she really wanted her parents to be ok with Wicca she should have made more of an effort in school. This was an ok story but I found all the arguments frustrating and the fact that everyone automatically tried to blame Morgan for the out bursts of magic was annoying. Its their job to look into that kind of thing and they literally dont dont even investigate. This book seemed a little lighter than some of the others.
I originally read this series in 2005, when I was about 13. I decided to re-read them to see if these books were as good as I remembered. I started on April 17th, and Im already halfway through book ten. That being said, Im thoroughly enjoying them. They only downside is that they can be quite predictable; the foreshadowing isnt particularly subtle. But thats not uncommon in young adult novels. As someone who spent half my life as a Wiccan, its clear that the author knows her stuff, which is
Word of the book... "gray". Seriously though. Everything was gray... This was a spacer book. Waste of paper really. Nothing happens.
