Saving Wishes (Wishes #1)
She's been branded a troublemaker, her reputation is in tatters and she's stuck in Pipers Cove, a speck of a town on the coast of Tasmania. Thankfully, it's temporary. Her lifelong dream of travelling the world is just months away from becoming reality. All she has to do is ride out the last few months of high school, which is easier said than done thanks to a trio of mean girls known as The Beautifuls.
When Adam Décarie arrives in town, all the way from New York, life takes an unexpected turn. His arrival sets off a chain of events that alters her life forever, convincing her of one thing. Fate brought him to her.
Originally reviewed on Sunshine ReviewsSAVING WISHES tells the story of a seventeen-year-old girl, Charli, short for Charlotte. I have to say, this was a great story. The characters were all amazing and the story plot is so interesting. I kind of died after the ending. I mean, how can you end a book like that?! Charli was witty, HILARIOUS, and she has this vibe around her that I can't describe but totally love! I love how she has this unique personality, I just love that about characters. Her
Wow.Wow. Wow.This was bad.And when I say bad, I mean lurve-at-first-sight-fate-bought-us-together-how-could-I-possibly-live-without-you bad. I mean 'small town girl falls in love with handsome (French speaking) stranger' bad. I'm talking 'poor ickle orphan with gap yah style lets bum around the world as soon as I finish school dreams' bad.If you are one of those people who gave this 5 stars, please see someone. So we have Charlotte. She lives in a small town in Australia, with her 34 year old
The cutest book I've read. It had many twists and turns, and the ending was perfect. I'm not sure if I want to read the second book now because the ending was just perfect for me. Maybe in the future I'll read the second book later. Five cute stars from me
Very YA. Good, although a little unrealistic, considering how self-assured the 17 year old was. I read the first one because I got it for free as an iBook or on the Kindle app. Will I keep reading the series? Possibly, if my library buys the next books in the series - they arent ones Id bother to buy.
I couldn't put this book down! It started off a bit slow, but it picked up quick. I loved the character of Charli and the relationships she has with others.
