Article Based On Books Paris Encore (Zion Covenant #8)
Yet another fantastically written book from the Zion Covenant series. I love the new characters introduced in this book- they are all so varied and with different stories and experiences. I greatly admire the research that went into the writing, and look forward to reading the next book!

I have loved this series. Until this book. Way too many new characters. The flow of the book was confusing and disjointed. There was an introduction of mildly descriptive "love scenes" that were a little too much for a Christian novel. The romance was forced among characters. Disappointed in summary.

This eighth book in the Zion Covenant seems to be a "second parter" in the 'get Yacov Lubitkin to the Promised Land' story. We know that in the sixth book of the Zion Covenant his family was trapped in Warsaw, Poland when the Nazi's took over. In the seventh book, his family was arrested for being out after curfew and trying to escape from the Jewish sector. Now, Yacov is discovered in a Catholic church and is smuggled through Germany. And then he shows up years later in the Promised Land in the

I just love the characters in this series who bring to life the hearts and souls involved in life in europe and Great Britain leading up to WWII.

I read this whole series several years ago. Each book was so well written. I was captivated by the characters, their stories and struggles. It was this series that really peaked by love for historical fiction.

Where did everybody go?! This book seemed a complete change of tack to the precending 7 books. I was following the lives of the main characters and then all of a sudden they're gone! How can you craft a 9 book series, follow several characters in intimate details through the majority of them and then suddenly have them disappear? In Paris Encore John Murphy has a cameo role and everyone else I've grown to love was just not there. I'm a little concerned because reviews seem to indicate that they

Meh. Where is Leah? What happened to Mrs. Wallich and Marlene? Orde, Lucy and the others? I understand the need for additional characters to explain what happens in France and Germany, but what happened to the characters from books 1-7? On to the last book...
