I really loved this book. As an ex of an OHL hockey player this book is closer to reality than many people might think. When I was dating my boyfriend girls stalked him all the time. They stalked me and wrote terrible things about me on the internet hoping he would break up with me. As for the group sex - it really happens in the hockey world. It's part of the sport. It's horrible that it happens but that is the main reason my relationship ended. I don't know any hockey player in the OHL thatI wasn't sure what to make of this book but my friend reads anything and everything and so I borrowed it from her. I liked it alot. It's different. My brother is a hockey player and he also read it when I told him about it. He agreed with me. It's a very different kind of book with so many truths. My brother said what the main character goes through is realistic in the hockey world. I love that she's a strong enough character to hold steadfast to her morals and beliefs. I think every young girl
Good book - I liked Moose better though, but still, great book.

**3.5 Stars**I'm on a sports kick lately with my books, and especially into girls playing hockey!! (Perhaps because I'm spending 3 days a week at the ice arena with my daughter!) So Ice in my Veins was particularly appealing. I struggled with my thoughts on this book for quite awhile. I was torn between feeling inspired and feeling frustrated. And in the end, I enjoyed the story more than the negative aspects. Christine has to overcome a lot in this book. Her passion is hockey, and her family
First time author and it shows. There were typos and grammatical mistakes, but I really enjoyed this novel despite that. The author's clearly a fan of ice hockey and knows a lot about it. I loved that this was about a girl playing hockey and not the usual girl falls in love with hockey player story. I hope that Ms Sullivan writes another ice hockey novel.
I loved..loved...loved, this book. I had read some good and bad reviews about this book. Once again I am so glad I didn't let the reviews effect deciding to read this book. I think this was a completely different sort of book. It was very realistic. I read one review that mentioned that at 17 the girls parents wouldn't let her go away. She must not play any competative sports. It's a requirement that your kid be able to travel - sometimes out of the country to play or compete. Also in my high
So this will probably be the only book on my Did not finish shelf. I finish everything. I mean everything. But I just really can't read another word. First of the typos. I understand that no one is perfect and especially when you add the headache of an e-book transfer. But wow. The grammar and spelling errors are just atrocious. "Breath" for "breathe", "starred" for "stared", wrong tenses, etc. This author doesn't have one friend she could give her manuscript to for editing? It might have caught
