Commentary Supposing Books The Last Thing I Remember (The Homelanders #1)

Charlie West just woke up in someone else's nightmare. He's strapped to a chair. He's covered in blood and bruises. He hurts all over. And a strange voice outside the door just ordered his death. The last thing he can remember, he was a normal high-school kid doing normal things--working on his homework, practicing karate, daydreaming of becoming an air force pilot, writing a pretty girl's number on his hand. How long ago was that? Where is he now? Who is he really? And more to the point . . . how is he going to get out of this room alive?

Assessment Out Of Books The Last Thing I Remember (The Homelanders #1)
Charlie West is not having a good day.Sheesh. He wakes up this morning, bloody and bruised, strapped to a chair and surrounded by gory instruments of torture. Not to mention the lack of coffee. Then he escapes from a prison-like building only to fall headfirst into a twelve-foot deep hole. What's with that, huh?West is a strapping young gentleman. He gets good grades and he has a black belt in karate. And he's been accused of murder.Well, nobody's perfect, I guess. The thing is, Charlie doesn't

This is one of the best books I've read this year! I not only loved that fact that it was an unpredictable mystery but that it dealt with moral issues.Charlie's friend who is very disillusioned with life says to him 'You think, work hard, pray to God, respect your parents, love America, and everything'll be great .'This is a key point. Things aren't great at all but Charlie has a moral compass and uses that along with the wise words of the people that have guided him in the past to navigate the

Wow!!!!! This book is amazing! I borrowed it from my cousins. Then I started reading it at around 10 o'clock at night, and read till 3 o'clock in the morning. By then I was about 34 the way though already. I was actually stunned. Like I'm reading and all of a sudden I look down and I'm like what in the world how am I that far through! :D :D Then I finished it after a little while the next day. So all together I finished it in about..........8 hour. Way less than a day! It was THAT good!!! The

The last thing I remember ⭐He was a normal kid. Going to school to do a karate πŸ₯‹ demo but then he wakes up beaten and bloody strapped down to a table. He has to use his skills to fight his way out and figure out why these people want him dead. Although the writing was simply put it was still enjoyable and I read this years ago and forgot everything so it was like reading it for the first time again which was nice but also disappointing. It dragged on and besides Charlie the characters were bland

This is a great series! The story never slowed down, never got boring and it kept my full attention from start to finish. I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes these kinds of books -- Christian Young Adult, Action, Suspense, Mystery. But then, I'm not a big fan of YA books and I absolutely loved these!

What a ride! This is the kind of story that grabs you and just doesn't let go! Glad I have the rest of the series on hand!

My goodness. That was a crazy ride. XD Review to come eventually.
