Every comic book artist thinks their interpretation of Batman is the best, but most of them are overdrawn. Tim Sale gets it hes one of the best Batman artists Ive seen. I think he captures the insanity of the Mad Hatter and the Scarecrow so well, and his rendering of Batman is one of the best. I was listening to Amon Tobins Out From Out Where while reading The Long Halloween and the music fit the comic perfectly (especially The Searchers).
